North Georgia Family Resources promotes events such as concerts, sports events, walk-a-thons and also solicits funding from corporations & other business entities in the North Georgia area in order to provide funding for families which meet the financial criteria outlined, and do not qualify for County, State or Federal Programs. The funding will be used to provide various family needs, such as quality child care assistance, family counseling and assistance with housing and utilities along with other costs such as year books, hair cuts, school supplies, winter coats, etc. Our goal is to help families that are having temporary financial difficulties to keep their employment or to stay in educational or training programs rather than terminating their employment to seek Government assistance. This not only keeps individuals in the work force but also lessens the burden on Government programs.
